The Goldener Engl

Architectural Masterpiece with 700 Years of History

Historically Impressive

Goldener Engl in Hall in Tirol is an impressive testament to centuries-old architecture. Its origins date back to around 1300, when the building was attached to the city walls of the time. After the great city fire of 1447, it underwent a comprehensive Gothic expansion, whose magnificent vaults can still be admired today in the Augustiner Keller. In the 17th century, Goldener Engl received a Baroque redesign, giving the building its elegant facade seen today.
