Sustainable living at the Goldener Engl
At the Boutique Hotel Goldener Engl, we combine genuine comfort with a clear commitment to sustainability. Our “passive cooling” system ensures a pleasant room climate with minimal energy consumption, while the resulting waste heat is used directly to produce hot water for the hotel and kitchen. Electricity is generated by the photovoltaic system on the roof of our partner business HWest, which will soon be efficiently shared through an energy community – benefiting both us and the region.
Sustainability also plays a key role in our cuisine: slow food, regional products with short delivery routes, and honest craftsmanship instead of convenience goods. Our team comes from the region – for the region – ensuring that value creation remains local.
