The Goldener Engl combines historic architecture with modern comforts. Many things that make for a pleasant stay are simply part of staying with us. Other features are a result of the history and character of our house.

The Goldener Engl is not a hotel that recreates history. You are actually staying in a house that has evolved over centuries, right in the heart of Hall's historic old town.
Historic walls, vaulted ceilings, doors and architectural details are part of the building – and therefore part of your stay. At the same time, our rooms offer the comforts you would expect from a hotel today.
That also means that not everything is completely standardised: room layouts, ceiling heights and historic features vary from room to room. Each room has its own individual character.

No private hotel parkingTwo short-stay spaces are available for arrival and departure, for loading and unloading. For longer stays, public parking is available nearby.
Limited accessibilityAs a listed historic building, the Goldener Engl is not fully accessible due to its historic architecture. Not all areas can be reached without steps. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before your arrival.
No separate single or twin bedsWe do not offer separate single or twin beds. A single room and rooms with a sofa bed are available.
No lockable bicycle storageBicycles cannot be stored in the rooms. We currently do not have a lockable bicycle storage area.

You do not need a car to experience Hall. The Goldener Engl is located right in the historic centre. Streets, squares, shops, cafés, restaurants and cultural attractions are all within walking distance.
Hall in Tirol railway station is only around 400 metres away. Innsbruck is approximately 9 kilometres away and can easily be reached by train, bus or car.
